We hauled some wood out in the truck then the rest by the tub, it looks like those Cherry will be around 1.22 cord, not face. I wanted another load but it's almost time for some prime rib, after stacking in the sun I'm hungry. The split wood in the bowl is gone so I filled the last load in a different area.
Looking real good Woody! I'd be hungry too after that. Sounds like a real fine dinner planned. Pics of the prime rib, or it didn't happen. (btw, its been awhile since u posted food pics.....)
Just a bit late on the pictures, I had the biggest SLAB with the second one saved for later this week.
Thanks Pete, just one of those days, the wife wanted me to stop but the controls between my shoulders said keep going. I'll get a few loads stacked tomorrow, just hope this storm coming this way isn't that bad.
Looking good You have a place to throw all the punky stuff & loose bark. ? In a good damp spot & in a few years, it would be some good compost + keep some of the bugs that like that stuff a ways from your stacked wood areas.
Yes I do Bogydave, way before we bought the property someone started a wood dump at the end of a trail near the line, I'm thinking they had somebody coming on the property with four wheelers or trucks.
Sure has been some nice weather, once I finish this area, we only have one more that needs filling, it's a new area.

Pic 9292 is the first load of Cherry today, it finished off the front row, pic 9295, the rest is from the second load which I stacked in the back row.
Thanks WVhunter, we have one new stacking area (it needs filling) once that is full we're out of stacking areas. It's time that I come up with a plan for more wood storage.
