    SCAR has 7.62 which is close to 308. I’ve got 1500 rounds. Gonna wait. Getting close to Turkey time. Let’s do tannerite round 2.

    7.62X39 or .308 does a great job of setting it off. .270 at 300 yds. did fine as well. Cut a square notch in the face of the tree like they use to jack them over when logging. If you get 1/2 the diameter of the container inside the tree she'll go. Maybe use three smaller diameter tube shaped containers to get them in there?

    That 7.62 will most likely be military ball ammo. Designed not to expand. Would take a long time and lots of rounds ;)
    Something along the line of a .243 with light varmint bullets would be good.
