    I'm no explosives expert...but I think the blast needs to be directed into the tree more...either being inside the tree, via notch, or attached to the tree in a way that directs the blast into the tree, rather than just reflect off...no idea how to do it, but I know they talk about these things on that demolition show that used to be on the history channel.

    I was gonna notch but when I notched the back a little, it’s started splitting. I didn’t want it to fall from the saw cut.
