Sitting here waiting for kids to show up for Turkey Day and just relaxing with a cup and the FHC. Since we are doing supper have some time. I'm on here and hit this thread and remember that I got busted for contribution the last time we saw the kids . Granddaughter and I are at the table and left without adult supervision so it wasn't my fault. :D She is 4 and eyeing my coffee so I asked if she wanted some, she is a spitfire that definitely doesn't need more rocket fuel, and says yes. I put a splash from my cup into her almost full glass of milk. One little sip and her eyes light up and she said "tastey" with a huge grin. Hours later she tells mom she wants more coffee. Mom said you don't drink coffee, to which she replied "I do when grandpa pours it for me! And it's SO TASTEY"! I was given the look.

Woo, new coffee maker for Christmas! I've had a sale alert out for a few months but they were all hybrid single serve units, WWW remembered for Christmas! I had a similar one 10-15 years ago and recall it brewed great. Finally I'll have a pause and serve spring in the drip basket again   I'll get it washed up and take it on it's maiden brew today.
