Has your storm ended? Has the 2nd one started?

Lots of closure here today. Schools (of course) and lots of businesses also.

It is! Sun is coming up, clear skies! Little bit more this evening then we'll see what the Friday storm does. Yours?

That's not gonna be a good scene in the heavily populated northeast, in a few years. There are lots of street tree ashes.

Wind is a bit gusty but not terrible yet.

Stacked some more wood yesterday but can't seem to stay at it very long before I have to rest the back.

OK. Got out and opened a trail to the OWB. I'll get the rest later when the snow stops.

Went for a walk with 99 shortly after and we have a nice brisk N wind blowing in now. The snow itself is very packable (I'd like to send some out to anyone else) and compacts readily under your footsteps. The vehicles that did go by on the unplowed roads have about 2-3" packed underneath their tracks.

So I was sitting in the Rio at lunch today and a guy walked up to the corner of our receiving bay door, face forwards almost touching the door, reached his hands a little below waist level, looked downwards and held that pose for a minute or do before walking on. There's only 2 things I can think he might have been doing and neither makes me want to touch that door for a while.
