Thanks, we have a acre cleared around the house. There are 37 acres surrounding 2 sides and a township road on the other side and a provincial road in front. We are on a 10' high rock escarpment that blots out the traffic noise from the provincial road although there is not a lot of traffic anyway. Nearest neighbor is about a 1/4 mile away. 3 miles from town makes it seem your in the country. Been here since 1989.

Yeah, and wise enough to realize many floors not needed.

Funny you should mention that! I've been seriously looking for another place for a couple years now and that is one of the requirements 99 demanded.

The hunt goes slowly as the new place pretty much has to be low to no maintenance...… (yeah, right!)

Yup ........ no stairs, and yes, it should be a requirement. As well, no basement, slab on grade (shelf rock)

I've got to have my basement. And a walk out basement at that. Great place to hunker down during a storm such as today!

We looked at a place, that I regret not bidding higher one, this past spring. Not only fulfilled my requirements for basement, but it also had an elevator for when your knees, back, hips, whatever need it!

Dang! Why didn't I raise my bid????

Nice pics of the snow at you place Rotti, looks great. Are those pics of snow current, or are they "older" photos?

I'm willing to share. Or maybe you can share your tractor until you need it back? I'd fill the fuel tank for you!
