Had to replace the impeller drive belt and could not stretch it enough to fit. Thinking about heating it at 200 for 5 minutes, any other thoughts??

Heat up the belt and leave the mower out in the cold?

You can't twist that pulley and walk that belt on?

Don't make it too tight and ruin the bearings.

Try giving the area a spray with Fluid Film or similar. Should be able to roll it on then.

Won’t that make the belt slip?

Shouldn't if you only spray the captioned area.

Looks like it has one fixed pulley and one spring loaded pulley. Can you get it up on a lift to access the spring loaded pulley? Is this the correct belt?

I think the belt will stretch once I get it on and run it for an hour or so.
I picked up a belt that is 1/2” longer this morning. I am sure I can get it on, but afraid it will shred once it stretches
