    I've never loaded my firebox like that. How long do you get out of a load like that?

    Like I've said in earlier posts I finished my wood stove half way through last winter. This will be our first winter with it. I don't have a fire every day, but when the wind starts blowing around here the temperatures really drop.

    This is the house I plan on dying in. I'm going to make this place perfect! I've even planted 4 trees on my small property, and I have a little more room to plant one more next spring. Its going to be another Norway Spruce.

    I have been planting fruit trees; pears, apples, plums; the plum died (I have a red plum though). This year I planted a red delicious apple tree. I want to find a damson plum tree but haven't seen any local. I haven't had damson plum jam in years; not since Mum has been gone.
