Here's a few pics of the corals.

All of the green ones on the sand except the one in the back on the right I got yesterday. These are all euphyllia. Hammer corals in particular.

Heres the hammer coral I got a couple of weeks ago. It's doing very well.

I got this montipora cap coral as a bonus. I wasn't going to go with any SPS , small polyp Stony, coral, but these are not very demanding. The orange red color is pretty nice and it grows fast. 20190624_211358.jpg

    Here's an update picture. 20191106_193834_Burst31.jpg

I did a water change last night and then I swapped the return pump I was using for a real return pump. I was using a 250 gph powerhead for the return. It worked, but with a couple feet of head loss it surely wasn't much gph at the top of the tank. In it's place I put a sicce syncra 700gph return pump. Much better. More flow in the tank. Which really cancels out the massive one way flow from the powerhead on the left side.

The original clownfish I had ended up dying. He never really bonded with the davinci clown female I bought. She started pushing him away. Then a few weeks later he had issues swimming. I tried saving him, but that didn't work.

I got a different clown, a male, and he was almost immediately taken in by the davinci clown female. They now do the spawning/ pairing dances.

I also got a rose bubble tip anemone for the clowns to host in. Yesterday, I did see the male getting close and allowing the anemone to sting it. That starts the clown to be able to adjust it's slime coat to not get stung by the anemone.

I also got a bristletooth tomini Tang. That's the big purple fish with orange top and lower find. He really keeps the tank clean by eating off the rocks and glass all day. He does eat the pellet and frozen food too, so this guy is fat and happy.

Here the anemone, bottom right of the tank ( dark red tentacles). You can also see the snowflake clown ( male) lower on the left. 20191106_193848.jpg

Are the clowns investigating it or not ready yet?

Yes, the male is allowing himself to get stung. Just started doing that. The anemone has been in the tank for about 2 months. I forget how long it takes the clownfish to get used to the sting to negate that, or is it to make the anemone think it's not food?

I'll see if I can get a picture of him starting to host in the anemone.

Ok, yeah, he's hanging out right by it now. In the minute or two I was watching, he touched the tentacles about 3-4 times. Screenshot_20191107-190637~2.png

The clowns have not only paired, but are both fully hosted in the anemone.
    20191122_173003_Burst24.jpg

I've got a gif of like 20 pics, stitched together of them playing in the anemone, but it's too large of a file to put here.
