Wow, here's something you don't see everyday! An honest description of firewood for sale... At least the fact that it's WET and not DRY/SEASONED!! There are so many ads that state that they can, "cut and split wood to your specs"... and it's allegedly dry... This guy's taking a different approach. He straight up tells you it's wet...
I had thought of listing PU fulls of green red oak sections for sale at a discount over split and seasoned. I have a lot of oak and have access to more.
I have seen a couple ads where they say its 'wet wood' and not ready to burn. However 98.5% are claiming its seasoned when its not
So how much for a pickup load of green red oak delivered to north central Nebraska. Don’t tarp it while in route & it might be dry by the time you get here.
This guy charges $180/cord for fresh cut green oak, but you've got to buy 3 cord sometimes. I think his price varies as he needs cash week to week. His wood seasons kinda fast though. Must be due to the nose-bleed high piles.
$50 for a face cord/pick up truck of green oak? Man that’s a steal. The local company I buy from sometimes sells 2 face cord for $196.00 delivered/dumped. Last January I ordered 2 face cords and the guy called me and explained It’s only “semi seasoned” I still have some left and use it in my fire pit and there are still some splits that squeeze water out when burning.
