    I had a parakeet and cockatiel that would do that to my shep/husky mix, sweet girl did not mind at all. That said she would also step/stop/step when our bunnies were doing figure 8's around her feet. Those cute little birds would feed the dogs too. They always wanted to taste what we were eating on our plates and would shake it off if too hot or they did not like it (which the dogs were quick to catch mid air) but one morning I found both birds perched on the rim of mac & cheese bowl from the night before deliberately throwing noodles to the dogs. Too Cute!!

    Sweet little critters doing sweet things. Parakeet couldn't talk that well but she'd yell "Hot! Hot! Hot!" if she tried something too hot though we told her. Yep smart little lovies.
