Mama Bear decided to repaint a built-in dresser in our house. We didn't touch it in the 10 years we have been here. Pulled the drawers out and found a neat little reminder of days gone by. Yes shiny new can be nice but I really think that back when the average person just made due with what you had or could make yourself, that as a society we were much happier and stronger of character. I wonder who made these and what year it was?
so true ,now people over extend themselves on things they dont need and cant afford to impress people they dont like ,would be nice to go back to a simpler time
Absolutely.................trouble is that the 12 year olds walking around with the latest I phone won't allow that to happen. We are on a path, down a hill and there is no turning back.
I sort of agree except I do think it is possible to turn away from most of the BS that we see today. It will be a long road though.
Might be for you and I, but society as a whole is getting flushed down the hopper quicker and quicker.
