Ok, first load 2nd load, in the works. Last load from that area. And yes, there are still some dead oak logs to process. Purdy splits The area with the smaller diameter logs stacked. Some split. Need to find a covering Found one. Perfect size. I do have this empty rack. That's 10ft long. I view it as long storage.
Some nice stuff Mike. I like it when the sapwood is gone. No punk/bark crumbs and the mess that goes along with it. Will you burn any of it now. Gotta be nice and dry, no?
I'll burn a few pieces of it today and see how it goes. The next time I need to reload my deck rack, I'll probably mix some of it in with some other 3yr oak.
