Separation anxiety

Friend lets me store wood at his place. About ten cord there now and growing. I have several at the house we rent and 20+ down at my main PA at the landlords "yard".
I guess that answers my question though. Was gonna see if there was a score between us we could cut. Be great to meet another Connecticut hoarder!
How much wood is in your current inventory?

 

He burns wood and his house is warm BUT it’s because we provided it for him. He claims he’s going to begin helping. We shall see but I have my doubts

 

With enough lead time ( about a week) I’m sure Stoveaclause and myself would take a trip to hoard with you this winter

Stovehamster and I played the Bethpage black course today. We daydreamed about the possibility of us hoarding some dead standing from that course.

 

The amount of oak on that property is sick. Gotta be close to a million oak trees in that complex. Yes I meant to say a million. Plus a ton of hickory

 

I’m in the 14-15 cord range I believe. But 2-3 cords of that came into the yard this summer and hasn’t been processed yet. That is mostly maple. Some just got dumped yesterday actually.

Just gave Bobby Maple the heads up on a huge maple that came down and the town cut up to 16” length rounds 24” across. Lets see if he puts the work in.
Meanwhile he claims to have scored some wood but won’t tell us where, how and won’t invite us even after all we’ve done for him

 

Absolutely pathetic. Goes against the stovesmen mentality.

I drove past a yard sale and it caught my eye. I asked how much they were looking for it. Lady told me $200 but it doesn’t run. I offered $125 and she accepted. A little carb cleaner and it ran like Usain Bolt. Have only used the saw twice but it sure beats my old craftsman The sticker says 2012 so i’m thinking it was bought for hurricane Sandy cleanup.

 

Good score on the saw. Probably only used once. Good choice on brand! I like the personalized axe too!

Bobby Maple has trouble dealing with birdbrains. especially a 50 year old man whos wood is already running low. Bobby maple thinks this man is a fool and he wont stop making pointless videos. Maybe next time he fishes he should have someone cast his brains out .
