    Lit a fire in the kicker stove yesterday evening and watched an Adam Sandler movie on Netflix down in the basement with 99. The movie.....blah. Can't believe we watched the entire thing!

    Stove performed flawlessly, I had the intake air damped all the way down (shut right off) and the flue damper was choked to around 65% open and still had a stove top over 500f and flue temp of 345f! (started at 585f STT and 425 flue temp, then evened out)

    Dry wood is the key here, folks!

    Why can't people get that through their thick heads? Its the same story year after year with them. :picard:

    Short day of work today and I'm off for a week. Going to do a lot of cutting wood, killing deer, working on the garage, and cooking. Should be a good week.

    After that I have a stupid long work trip...basically Monday through the next Friday. The suck level is going to be exceptionally high for that one, but then I'm done with this project.

    I loved some of his previous movies but last night was obnoxious. PG rated animated Christmas movie, he played every single character with obnoxious annoying loud voiced and frankly too much for PG. Getting pretty full of himself.
