You are Astute my man and yes completely correct that was the plan until this little company landed a $186 million dollar job and the most important job this big Pharma Company has worldwide. My company has been doing small jobs for them but was kindly asked (told) they should bid on this job, that is where I come in and it is one of if not the toughest jobs I have done in the last 41 years . At our company meetings we have all agreed that none of us want to do another big job like this as it completely consumes your life or what you think you have for a life.
Would not be so bad except we had to partner with a huge worldwide corporate company to get the bonding ect.... and they are not providing what is needed to build this job but in fairness to them we started cranking with basically no design even now the coordination is only @ 60% , downright craziness.

Just shy of $500 with the 2 pair special.
I get the special no scratch coating, progressive lenses, transition lenses (Get dark in the sun)

The $$$ I can manage every few years...just hate the adjustment time and fighting to get back in the groove.

    Today things are pretty good.
Gotta start off with fresh eyes in the morning and then switch to the new glasses first thing out of the sack.

Takes on average about 2-3 days to get in the groove and things to be happy again.
I have 2 pairs this time with exactly the same Rx and the same frame.

Should be good to go for a few years.

If they would have redone the old Rx I could have been fine with the old one...just needed the scuffing and stuff gone.

Most optometrists try to take the correction a tad too far for my taste...

The fella pushed me out to 20-15 and things are just too sharp.... I like life to be a tad fuzzy

And all this time I though the screen on my iphone was dirty :picard:

Well got my circuit board delivered today but to smoked to mess with it will do it this weekend, hopefully it will solve my stove's issue if not then I have a spare on the shelf .
Time for the chores (load the pellet bin, load the stoves, walk the dog one last time, feed the cats, and setup tomorrows work clothes) and then hit the sack and hope I can shut down the brain for some much needed sleep . I do a lot of work while I sleep as well and wake up tired and hungry, anyone else do this ? I have fricking dreams about work and when I get up in the morning I remember them and set my day's list of activities . Can't be healthy .....

Hope all are well and Healthy !

Rain on the way...but today was a pleasant day.

Went downstairs and dragged Munchy outside.
Ran a bit more than 55 gallons of shells through.

So we now have a nice little bit of stove ready shells to run the wee stove sitting in the basement.
Plenty down in the barn.. :D
Now this takes care of the odd amount left from the last shell run.

We had ten 55 gallon barrels full of half shells...plus two plastic garbage cans full and a small amount in a third can....

Got the odd amounts all run through Munchy and ready to haul upstairs.
This should keep things going until the next break in the weather...

Every chance we get we will run more of the half shells through Munchy and get them stove ready.

With 10 barrels ready for Munchy that's about 40 days or so depending on what the weather does....

And a good time was had by all....

The Chupi Cat is definitely happy with the warmth

Close to what I paid for one pair, several years ago..
    (Progressives, with extras..)
This time.. I will get a prescription... and shop.
Many moons ago, I got a twofer from Sears.. it was a good deal.
No more Sears... But there are others around here that offer specials
    every now and then..
