    I've always heard draining and flushing the system with water, then refill with water/ Cascade dish detergent solution...run it for a few days, drain, flush a few times, refill with 50/50 colant...good to go. I've never personally tried it though...

    Sounds like that should work. Never heard of that one though.

    I'm a firm believer of using reverse osmosis water only for cooling systems ( obviously mixing it with antifreeze), unless it's premixed.

    Using tap water that hasn't been RO filtered can get a lot of scale and other crap in your cooling system.

    We've been watching a new to us tv series since acquiring high speed interent. I cannot get "HR Puffinstuff" song out of my head now. Fortunate to forget it growing up as a kid but this darn scary series has it back in my head. Sinister in the movie but I remember it being happy.
