We are still 10-14 days away from our first berry. But they are flowering nicely, should be a good year.

Once mine hit full stride I should get about 1 gallon per day for a 7 - 10 days. The kids are hitting the patch pretty hard during the day so I'm really not sure how many we're getting right now.

Been raining a lot. Today, cool but sunny. Grass is exploding. Weed trimmer time... at least I get to smell 2 stroke fumes... Then lots and lots of haying (mowing)... :zip:

Have been sorting thru hundreds of our cabin build pics. Fun to see them again. Will start to put together a thread of pics.

Well digging in the poop and dirt today, should get everything ready for planting in the compost bins (1 left to add dirt to). Also today is laundry day, waiting for the first load to be ready to remove from the dryer. I was slow getting started this morning.

Tomorrow or Saturday will be another tilling day, that should finish the garden prep then on to building a fence around it. I hope she isn't in a rush for the fence as I still have other work to get done in the house due to a little plumbing issue awhile back.

The boss took a large load of 'barb stalks to quilt club yesterday evening gone in no time and you don't even notice they are missing from the patch.

Kind of bittersweet though. Now on to at least 2 years of swing shift starting in August. :headbang::( oh well I wanted to be a lineman. Company says its time to be a troubleman for a while.

    Thanks everyone.
I can't complain about that I make good money for a man with just a high school education.

"I can't complain about that I make good money for a man with just a high school education." ... you're a very modest guy Jet. The skills you've learned and worked for after you were beyond HS, completely eclipse the value of the best colleges in this country today. 20 -30% of graduates over the last few years have spent incredible amounts of mom and dad's $$$... to graduate with no job, and then move back in with their folks. Who was the smart one... again? ;)

LOL I hear that. Weekend off, and I'll work harder at home. Oh, well. You enjoy it and you know it Lukem. I do have to take some down time. My daughter has a softball game Saturday afternoon. I'm bringing a comfy chair and a cold drink with me! Not beer though. ;(
