As some of you might know, I am all out of "inventory", to CSS as stacks become empty. So, time to rectify that situation, nd off tp my SIL's this morning EDAGS!! Pink fungus! taking that leaner down, and smaller brush around it Dead standing red oak! Not standing any more Bodies everywhere. These big boys will have to wait. A tractor would be the safe way to proceed. Ropes and chains to guide them down More DSRO!! Starting to look like you-know-who, after a run to Winchester NH. Side view - Back home. Most DSRO. is on the right side, standing up. DSRO There's more DSRO over there. I'll be back for it. Already have some of it cut into rounds, but the minivan was looking heavy.
You sure did get her Loaded up well! Big day! Giving it a year or you fixing to burn the DSRO a chance in the winter ?
Nice looking haul. Wish I could get some easy cutting. The only problem with the picture is You Know Who's saws don't have that much orange on them.
missed this post too. Nice work Mike! Looks like you are well on your way. How much do you need to restock?
Way to haul with what you have...I get my rocks busted by my friends and co-workers all the time because of what I haul in my SUV.
Back at my SIL's this morning. Beautiful day to be making firewood. Nice little dead oak that I dropped. About 5in at the base. 7, 4-foot pieces. Pic doesn't do the load justice with shadows. But, smaller than the load earlier in the week. Pile is growing. I'm pleased with the size. Most will be cut to length, then stacked. Some will be simply split in half. A couple into thirds.
Another beautiful day. So, I prepped the DSRO, for introductions to the x27. Cut up the poles to length. All ready with the splitting stump. The other rounds I have, are also ready to go with its own splitting stump. All the splits will be stacked here. I don't like running chain saws on Sunday mornings. So I'll have some tunes playing as I split tomorrow morning.
