It is good to finally start refilling the holes left by last winter's usage. The Swisher 22-ton split through the rounds nicely.

And the new row's little brother...

This ash is for 2015/16. A bit more (but not too much) to get the 3-year hoard back to a full 3-years' worth.

Very nice! You wouldn't happen to have a craigslist add for firewood? I ask because that looks a lot like one on the list... ( I am not stalking ) :drunk:

Oh, no ... I've never sold firewood. I do share it with my cutting partners though.

Nice stacks - good looking splits

what do you use for the cover - is it some type of rubber roofing?

I'm always looking for new ideas for what to use to cover - ideally cheap or free

Excellent job. Those are nice looking stacks, to bad you will eventually have to tear them down and burn'em up.

Two full summers to dry should be gooder, eh?
    Nice stacks.
I still don't have any Ash in the stacks.:(

I was fortunate to get a couple ash trees this February. For a teaser I pulled out a medium sized split last night and I'm already down to 22% MC.

    Thanks, everyone.
The top-cover is indeed rubber roofing. It lasts a long time.
The first pic (new row) is 1.75 cords. The little stack just under 1 cord.
I figure that 'cause a cord is 221,184 cubic inches. Weird, huh?
