I wonder how many, even adults, would remember the US without a McDonalds? I remember the first one to come to MI. One time we had to go to Lansing and found one. If I remember right, the sign read over 20,000 burgers sold!

Back in the mid 60's I was going to university in Salina Kansas. There was a Sandy's at the end of the main drag in Salina that was a gathering spot/hangout for nightly cruising up and down the main drag. Mostly motor heads hung out there and it was a planning spot for a lot of street racing on the outskirts of Salina. I made a pi$$ pot of money out of some of those races in my 65 GTO...................

Yes but what was his helpers name? Jim?
I used to laugh when Marlin would come on and say "Jim and I risked our life..... but we are covered with Mutual of Omaha..."
Heck he didn't do darn thing but sit in the front of the boat barking orders. " Jump in there and catch that snake Jim." And of course Jim would jump in and wrestle the snake.

I'm starting to think that Backwoods Savage remembers T-Rex omlets.

I can only hope my memory sticks around as long.
