All rolled up at the homestead

That's a lot of splitting to do. We know you get quite the crew assembled though.

 

About 2/3 of pike can go in owb as is, as we try to split some as we go, that way on the big day we keep 5 wheel barrows going from two splitters and the stuff not needing split in the pile. Some Btus get moved that day. Try to get enough guys to start at 8 and finish before noon.

 

Getting there! Is that above, below or average amount of wood hoarded for this time of year Greg ?

 

I think I may have had a tad more last year at this time due to a couple of larger scores, but have til April to collect. I’m pretty close to having 20/21 winter in that pile I think. Still have bunch of dead ash to cut on my property but tough going to get to some of it.
