    Awesome work.

I'm sure your wife appreciates the nice warm house and the low energy bill.

My wife used to give me the same crap. Not anymore. She's full on board now.

I've broken her, yours will follow.;)

    Nice job.
Sometimes you get in the zone with those big rounds and its just go, go, go.
I did the same last sunday with kentucky coffee tree rounds.
Have an ash pile Im waiting to get in mood for.

Yeah if a bunch of wood rounds show up to a wood lot I’m familiar with here, I’m usually on top of it. Tossing anything I can get in the truck and quite quickly too. I don’t worry about neatness. You’re just whori...I mean hoarding your butt off Woodwhore.

I get these mildly derisive comments all the time when I am doing something over the top firewood wise. At least she says them with a smile while shaking her head sorrowfully. Like I am some overly exuberant manchild. I AM a mature adult, I am I am!
I like your "Buzzsawbrading the red Oak" comment. I am sure this will become common in the woodcutters vernacular. Like when you and your buddy walk up to a huge log carrying your chainsaws: "Lets BUZZSAWBRAD this mutha!"

No wood today, i had to climb into my septic tank to reattach the broken pipe from the pump to the leach-field pipe. Woke up to the septic alarm at 4am. Atleast the pump is still good. The guy cleaned out the tanks real good for me and the overflow liqiud tank where i had to climb down in wasnt bad job at all. Was a first for me, cold definitely have been worse. Hoard on tomorrow and the3 day weekend to buzzsawbrad the hell out of some wood

Believe it or not it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be at all. Not knowing anything about that stuff when he first opened it and we saw the pump shooting water into the side wal he says well thats really good the pump is still working but now you gotta go in there or pay someone to go in there and i was like well holy crap what do i need a wet suit and he chuckled and said no its only a couple feet deeper than you see and i will rinse it good and suck it all out. It wont be bad i promise or you could pay someone $500 bucks for an emergency call. I said hell no i dont care what i haveto do. $20 in plumbing later and its good. I learned alot and also have piece of mind thatwhen and if the pump goes i can do it-myself no problem. My son was fascinated with the fact that daddy climbed down into the poop tank.

Thanks, iv got new motivation going, i already have quite a few loads in the new storage area up top, i think 5. I sat on the couch last night a realized i wasnt ready to sit yet, probly all the caffeine during poo patrol so i went out and split some if the red oak with the fiskars. I just did some of the bigger ones for now so they were easier to get on the splitter later on. I have a 1/3 role of underlayment leftover from when they did my roof so i tried cutting some of that and top covering rounds as they come in and get stacked. Its the perfect width of a pallet so its working out nice.
