Sorry I missed this morning. Not feeling very well, physically and mentally... Went to Dr for sinus junk, got meds. Trying to figure out all this govt stuff for Mama's care has me stressed. She is doing better though, so should be back close to home in a day or so. Hope y'all had a good day.

 

Good Mornin....57* yesterday..... this time today....34* now....still pretty windy....no damage or trees down(that i can see yet).....winds to subside this afternoon..

Good morning.

Did a quick walk around a few minutes ago, and there's no obvious wind storm damage.

News reports show lots of trees and branches doend in the region. Including, utility lines down.

I can do my final packing and hit the road in a few hours, to catch up with friends in NH, for a long weekend.

 

Sorry you're sick, T.Jeff! Work that Purell dispenser in all those medical facilities you visit, for your and everyone's sake. I'm glad mama can return to her nearby rehab soon. Is there a case manager that can help you with the paperwork? We all missed you, but we struggled on, don't worry about us!

 

Hope ya get to feeling better T.Jeff. After having gone through some very difficult seasons with parents and in laws.
Do the very best you can and let the good Lord take care of the rest. Looking back I don't think we could have got through it alone.
Good morning to everyone else. Glad no one is talking about storm damage. We lost power last night for around two hours.

Good morning everyone! It's still quite blustery here, but we didn't lose power, and the sun is out. The wind and sun should dry all the leaves on the ground. Tomorrow I'll mow them up. Today I'll move some poplar into the house, strip some black locust bark, get 5 plastic pallets out of my car, and move a length of closet maid wire shelving ( on concrete blocks) out of the driveway. And scrounge at the dump for downed oak limbs!

T.Jeff Veal How is Miz Carol doing with her arm and the bug bite? Hope and pray she is getting better.

 

That for checking on her. It is healing up nicely. The Dr did have to open it up to let it drain. Did a culture and it was the MRSA strain of bacteria. She was already on meds, so that helped. Just a little sore now, not hurting like it was.

 

The PA started me on a different antibiotic for 2 weeks, got some allergy meds, and picked up sinus wash kit to start using. Thanks

 

Hope you have a great weekend. We were at 73° yesterday morning, humid and rainy. 35° with blue skies today. Big difference.

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Working 3 days of 7AM-7PM. Big change in our temps, 73° yesterday morning, 35° this morning, 68° inside. Woke up a bit late, so no fire started. It will probably warm up some today. Just taking one day at a time. Today is the Queen of the Hill(Mama's) 93rd birthday. She is still in Macon at the hospital, probably get out tomorrow.

Good afternoon everybody. Yesterday was 60 and rain and today is 32 going up to 35. Overcast but no rain so far. Got the stove going this morning and it is a nice, comfortable 75. Might see our 1st snow Sunday, possibly up to an inch. Hope they are wrong. Have a good day today and enjoy your weekend.
