Hmm. Just saw on the local news I'm looking at close to 4"s of the white stuff by tomorrow afternoon.34* real feel 25* light snow. 72* with the Ash in the stove.
Last 48 hours a continual mid fifties. Next few days will be freezing overnight temps. Fired the boiler up the first time, this week. Now it is on!
39F here, up from 31 this morning. Had about an inch of wet snow & supposed to get 2-3" more tomorrow night. Nasty cloudy damp here forecast for the next several days. I'll take that Montana forecast of teens, sun & light wind over this crap anytime. We've had over 3" of rain since Saturday. Pine in the boiler.
Hi friends! I'm new here. It's currently 9 degrees on my deck. Plowed 8" of snow this afternoon. 74 degrees in the house. Burning a mixture of pine, willow and ash tonight.
27f Burning nasty wet basswood so leaves don't start on fire . Boilers kinda a spark thrower . Sent from my LGL84VL using Tapatalk
Hey Cash, been wondering what you guys got down there. Windy here tonight, but currently 14 deg. , so we're done with the worst of it. 40's this week end?
Were up to -9c/16f which is quite a bit warmer than its been the last few evenings. I wasnt quite ready for -21c/-6f yet. It looks like we will warm up some more which is fine by me. I just loaded the stove full of larch for my overnight burn.
Temp still in low 40's where it has been for the last 24 hours or more. Still raining too. Supposed to turn over into albino rain with a few inches predicted.
Not too cold here maybe mid 50s but once evening rolls around I've been lighting up a stove full of pallet poplar, siberian elm and dead ash to keep the elm going easier....Can't wait til the elm is gone. Seems to burn fine when you reload it onto a bed of coals but starting it up takes about twice as long as most other stuff I use.
High of 39 today. Still burning shoulder wood. Horkn and Thor should be getting all the snow. None here in western Wisconsin. At least not yet
