Beautiful Dave!!! I "wish" I could get my stacks that nice! "No patience"... And, they mostly fall over anyway! o_O:rofl:  80% of my wood is not nice and evenly split. lot's of uglies. Very rarely do you get a nice "straight" tree here.

Is the train visible from any roads? Or, is it for your view only?

Awesome job. Thank you so much for including us.

Very nice indeed Dave. You work faster than I do; but then, most everyone works faster than me now. It used to be the other way around but time does tend to change things a bit.

With the wood work done, I hope you can settle in for a nice winter now.

    Thanks Dennis
    Fast in your opinion,
I know ibuprofen makes a good breakfast.
Soon I’ll have to do wood in
The summer with 19 hours of daylight days
Just to get a trailer load.

It does feel good to look out the window
    & see a nice new stack :)

Well Dave, I have to admit that I used to never consider cutting firewood until December and was done in early January. As the years pass by, I find that I can find some firewood work to do in any month of the year and there still is not enough time.

    Yea,
Hard for me to cut in winter here:
    Short days,
road access to an area to get wood, (no maintenance on road into cutting area in ),
    sub zero temps, frozen trees.....
    ...
I’m full of excuses, .... need more...
    low motivation...
golf & Bike riding in SoCal ....:D

As usual bogydave your pics, and those mountains, look amazing. I'm curious if you've ever figured how many trailer loads it takes to "build a train"... ;)
