yup, split to 1/2, 1/4, 1/6 and its much easier to load/unload and can be sardine packed in the PU/trailer.
40!. Wait'll ya hit 50!:BrianK: Actually its not that bad, some days i feel my age, but most of the time its just a number! Making firewood keeps me young...i think...i hope! Most of the time i forget im as old as i am (not intentionally) and at times the body reminds me! Arthritis, bursitis, hemorroids, gray hair, E.D. etc.
I consider myself 21 with 30 years of experience!

yup, pics are always good. Looks like a decent amount and not bad for your first scrounging IMO. As with anything else in life experience is a great teacher.

Looks like a nice load. I and hear you with all the talk about 40. My mind says I can do things, but my body seems to forget sometimes.

40 really isn't the problem. It's the broken vertebrae that the VA says will never properly heal and keep breaking for the rest of my life. When one goes, I have to pretty much stay in bed for a month. Such is life, I guess.

sorry as i didnt know, but understood. Do you have any type of brace you wear while doing strenuous work...using the back etc. I have disc issues that arose in January. I was give a better quality "generic" back brace in March and wear it religiously. I think it helps. Some back pain, but not as bad. Just mind full of how i lift.

Nah, not to worry. I've been dealing with it for almost 18 years now. I'll live. I have braces that run the gamut from full body to the old leather weightlifting belts. I switch them out like shoes. Such is life.

You can not upload a video direct to the forum. First it needs to be posted on something like youtube (that is what most folks use); then copy the url and paste that into the forum.

Oh the joys of aging and bad joints. I just turned 77. Had polio in my youth; badly hurt back 35 years ago and I too have braces that I hate wearing. Neck is about shot and most of my discs are going south fast. However, we still do what we can and believe it or not, even at this age it can be very enjoyable; you just can't do as much and have to do it in short stretches.

I am impressed you are 77, as I was about to post that I am soon to be 66 and sure feeling it. I might post about it, have considered it. Meanwhile, hoard on.
