Went for the rest of the red elm and hickory then rounded it up with some ash. 20191028_172725.jpg 20191028_175608.jpg 20191028_183228.jpg

I almost quit at that second picture but it didn't seem right so went looking and found some nice ash. Had to cut that in manageable chunks and carry it out to the the truck.

Not my land, one of the farms I cut at and yes I can cut anytime I want, anything dead or down or sometimes they are clearing land. I am blessed. I just talked to one of the sons at his Mom's calling hours Sat. and he said he had spotted about 5 trees he wanted down. This son is second generation and now third generation, so grandson has a good size farm and he is always wanting something cut. I really do not have enough time to cut everything.....good problem to have though I guess.

Yup, a good problem for sure. Im sure lots of members here would like to have the same "problem". Always nice to see Black Betty hoarding. Take good care of the ol' girl. I never tire of seeing pics of her loaded up!

Keep on cutting Locust Post. Keep on hunting too. No luck here yet. Been seeing one I want but just not close enough yet.
