Fixed No email alerts since Saturday

I don't use my phone for receiving email, mail from FHC goes right into it's own folder on the PC, a quick glance tells me I have new alerts
I don't do twitter, facebook , any of that

 

Scotty any progress on this issue?

Any work around?

Was your email not allowing all the stiff to be run through it? Since everything came from your mail?

 

I fire up my computer maybe a few times a month. My phone works fine for most of my needs.
I don't even know what tweeter, pinterest or in stage am is.
I had a friend tell me I should go online. I said, ok... What website?
No... GO ON LINE, not go Online... Its a chat program.

Huh.. Who the hell came up with that?!

 

No idea what go on line is either?? Why? Use a forum or text or facebook like everyone else!

I only know of the others from tv or hearing folks talk. You can even "tweet" deadliest catch and all my other shows on disc. Thats where I see a lot of it.

 

Yeah I have heard OF twitter/tweet (whatever the hell it is) but I don't understand it. I figured it was some kind of texting which I don't do either.

 

Its a message thing. Not sure how it really works it has something to do with the poundsymbol,# or hash tag as they now call it? They pound everything ? I am not sure if you tweet something that has #deadliest catch in it does it automatically go to their account?? I dont know. Now my wife says she has friends that put #whatever, like #ready to leave this place, when they post on facebook. I said if I was on there I would write #youranidiot. #why the hell do you out pound in front of everything #why do you use the pound symbol!!

 

My wife's a regular Twitter user and got a kick out of this. She also wants me to say that Twitter is mostly about knitting, but I know better.

 

Twitter is a short bird song.

This is not good for the forum, This is old and needs to get fixed,

I agree. I think in this case something should be delegated to a capable modd or mods who can handle it?

I know I dont have the expertise and dont pretend to but seems like the company you bought the software from can tell you what to do? That seems like customer service to me?

Hope this gets fixed as I sure do miss it. I have actually started posting more elsewhere so that I can have more real time convos through alerts. And these alerts come through an app which is WAY more convenient than clicking an email then on to here. (Wish we would go to TT).

I still check in here a dozen times a day or more ...just I miss the alerts!

 

So it looks like all someone has to do is get to the screen in the setting page and make the emails match the registration email that was used to start it? Or create a new email address to use to sent alert emails from and make sure they match???
