When we got this Quadra fire, we plugged it in and everything worked as it should including ignition and burn. It had the vertical stack attached but Our installation called for horizontal so removed the vertical stack. We also noticed the blower motor housing was bad so replaced the blower motor. Have now placed in house and connected. When we plug in, blower kicks in and such, however red light does not come on and stove will not ignite. Suggestions? We are going to pick up a t-stat in the event that is the challenge, but wonder if we’ve missed anything else?

How disappointing! I wonder if a connection came loose during blower replacement or moving it?

Do you currently have a stat hooked up to it?

We thought we’d checked all connections but will take another look.

We have the original. We thought that was the issue so tried jumpering and still no luck. Since the stat is original and so is the wire, we’re replacing both today.

Where did you jumper it...at the stove or at the thermostat?

Make sure one of the yellow (I believe yellow) wires didn't come off the thermostat connection block inside the stove. If that's not it, I'd re-seat the control box...make sure the stove is unplugged.

One of the wires was undone so re-connected. Re-seated connection to controller. Still no red light.....

Remove thermostat wires and jump that thermostat terminal block.

Hate to say it, might be the board...I'm assuming you don't have a spare or know someone with a Contour, Santa Fe or Castile to swap boards to try?

Good assumption......we didn’t even know this style existed until we found it .

May we confirm, is this the board? Sorry if we’re not sure:

Double check the fuse by the board. I think if that were blown you wouldn't have power though.

They "may" test if for you at the local Quad store. Wouldn't hurt to give them a call to check.

I think some places have the ability to test and some not. Hopefully you can find one close.
