Finally got wood rack set in place....started filling it... I am takin from here...so i can fill it back in...sometime.. about a 100 yd. trip each way Tool of choice to haul the wood....its pretty tight to manerver.. n heres where im gonna put 2 more next year....then the new neighbor will pretty much outta sight...outta mind... n now its miller time....
The snow chains are Winter prep, slippery woods, something else ? It's been so warm the only Winter prep I've done is clean the chimney and a small stack of pine in a bin by the garage.
Its hilly, rocky, slippery ....so i never take them off.....i have other garden tractors or my kioti for other stuff if need be..
Very nice job Look really really good with the wood holding it down . (If you anchor it to the ground it becomes a shed ?)
Dont know....i do know it is HEAVY on its own....cant imagine it would go any where except in a hurricane or tornado....
Ok folks....this started out as this yesterday around 11:00..... now its this... ended up here n im beat.... all done....time to mow grass..
Just workin slow n steady......i had about 11 hours in it with a few beer breaks.. I kept track n it was 35 heaping, stacked cart loads....yesterday when i was done i felt pretty stiff....this mornin ...felt pretty good. Guess i got loosened up...
a stacking marathon! Nicely done. Now time to fill those pallets up with wood again...3 year plan calling! AWHNR!
I have quite a few dead rock oaks n who knows what else may come along.... no dought it'll get filled up again. Got some dibs on plastic pallets....think ill get about 8-10.. Im probly about 7-8 years ahead ...i burn 2-3 cords a year n im sittin on about 21 cords....
Here are my latest racks, the roofing was free - neighbor had it left over from a pole barn he built. Between the 4 racks it’s just over 4 full cords. I started filling these 8/15, filled by 10/15.
