I had an AHA moment this morning. We use pellets for kindling most of the time BUT we still like kindling from time to time. About 10 years ago I made shipping boxes for heavy bases that an old employer used at trade shows. They are built heavy and strong and have survived Fedex and UPS to the lower 48 states over 3 year period so when they threw the boxes away I couldn’t let my work go to the trash so I kept all 4 of them. Today I finally realized what to use them for. BAM! Kindling. The lids will make good drawers in the garage workbench too!
Ive done that with wood boxes before. Great repurpose Pallet Pete If its made out of wood, chances are a FHC member finds a way to burn it. Any pics of the box before?
Yes I do still have the shipping stickers on them too They where a quick and dirty build to ship in and they ended up being perfect for our shipping needs. Eventually they bought new stands and didn’t need them anymore. There simple to make I’ll get some pics of the ones in my shed in a few minutes.
