    From the local town tree dump area

    Top of the pile is Ash, it’s covering a bed full of Osage Orange, you can see a piece of it above the wheel well left side - woohoo! This will feed the stove winter of 21-22.

    Yea, my back hurts.

    I had to think same, usually if I see someone post, it’s hardly bigger than a couple palms across. Would be nice to see an end cut of that.

    The more I look at that Osage I’m thinking it’s black locust. I had initially thought black locust but a guy cutting where I got it swore it was Osage Orange. I’ll post some better pics soon

    Yeah the bark looks “gear-y” usually associated with black locust. Honey locust I’m not sure with. But that’s definitely a light colored black locust, not see that often.
