I'm kind of cheating considering where I work, but this is the current situation in southwest Montana, at about 8,500' elevation:

Wow. 1st. Sweet truck! That’s a snowy situation for sure. I feel like we’re a long way away from seeing that much snow on the east coast, if we see that much at all. Enjoy!

Yup, same here. We are about an hour south of lake Erie and the difference in weather here vs there is shocking sometimes...especially with snowfall...they get alot, we can get a little to none many times. Cleveland is often colder in the spring, but warmer in the fall.

Pine and some sycamore from a yard tree I found on CL last year. The sycamore is actually quite good.Never burned it before but I like it. Coals a lot better than pine for sure.

Nice. I've never burnt sycamore even though there's plenty here in NJ. Good to know. I scored some tulip poplar last season and loved it. It seasoned very quickly and looks cool. I wonder how similar poplar and sycamore are?

And after burning a bunch I can say it also generates a whole heck of a lot of ash. A lot.
