Ramps the blower speed down a bit so it don't sound like a 747 leaving town

I was grateful when CSU VTH gave me this recipe in the early 90's, it works GREAT, no other products/enzymes/concoctions/home remedies come close to it. Except back then it was both wet pet first and rinse after lathering and letting it sit a few minutes. I keep H2O2 and baking soda designated for skunk spays only on hand.

Wetting the animal beforehand would probably just end up diluting the mixture making it less effective. I agree, though, with the lathering , let it sit, and rinsing parts.

finished the firewood splitting operation the other day. put up 4.5 cords on the tall side. had to put 2 rows outside of my woodshed and top cover it.

I started using the old log splitter after putting a tube in one tire and a new carb. ran decent for a couple of splitting sessions. then the spark got weak. well I didn't have time to remove the engine, get the special Briggs tools from my Dad's workshop 30 mile away for removing the flywheel, and replace the points. SOOOOO, I remembered that a local friend had offered to let me borrow his new splitter.

And my friend said he was done splitting wood (he's 77), I said how much you want for it? he said , I donno. so it's in my shed, I'll talk to him

    Have not seen Pepe...
took the trap in the other day, just thought it might be not the right time of year..
They will be back next year.. they always do.. I can wait it out!

( Did see a possum last night though.
I don't like them either, at least they don't "stink"..
But one did get caught in my lattice work, under the porch this summer..
    He died of lead poisoning.)

Glad to hear Owls every night as that means less Rodents around but heck there are a 100 acres behind the house of wetlands and woods so there are plenty to be had. New wild cat has decimated everything around the house but they are plentiful beyond including Skunks but they seem to keep their distance and don't bother us.

We had a fox here a couple of months ago. It wasn't as much interesting as it was creepy. This thing looked scraggly and mean!
