    That 4foot metal pipe rack, was a scrounge on it's own. My BIL tipped me off about it and an 8foot rack, that had a free sign on them, the day after a yard sale. They were both put into my van, thank you very much. It's just big enough to stack that sugar maple (I think) all by itself. I'll probably cover it next fall.

    Boy, did that stuff split easy. Felt like just dropping the x27 on it would have split it. Even easier than the red oak I've been working.

    I know this all too well! Makes me sick to my stomach each and every day!
    It's amazing to see how the Jersey shore transformed over the years with the 3 and 4 story condos and houses, lot of NY peeps :loco: :crazy: . And your right they just keep coming and coming and coming. The price to rent a house at the Jersey shore is hilarious, I'd rather drive 8hrs to the Carolina's and not have to crawl over people like John Candy in Summer Vacation. You couldn't give me a rental house at the Jersey shore on a holiday weekend, it's a dam zoo.

    Mine neighborhood is the same, I can toss an egg out the window to my neighbor. My only saving grace is I back to the woods and I have a bigger lot of land vs. your typical postage sized lot. But I constantly hear noise and traffic all day all night long it don't' stop. That's on me which is another bowl of wax :headbang:

    That's a fine plan sir and sounds like you got things in order. Will be here before you know it!

There is a way around it but you have to be cagey." ... ayuh, one man's "cagey" is another man's "wicked smaht"... ;) ... gotta love states that put policies in place that cause folks to want to get outa Dodge, and then taxes the chit out of them if they do. 180 degree difference from the NH motto... Live free or die... gotta feeling you're gonna like it there Dave... :fire:

    Hats off to any one who can escape that A-hole of the earth- "The Garden State". It was a CHIT HOLE in 1982 when I left and I can only imagine how much worse it is now.

    Wife & I bought a 150 site RV park on a local lake. NO kids so the move was a easy.

    Hope they do better for you than they did me...I usually use the local glass shop, but since my insurance is setup to use Safelite as their "preferred" glass shop, and they come to you, I decided to use them. The first time there was tons of wind noise after the install...called them back and they sent a supervisor out to do it...windshield was fine then, but he forgot to tighten the nut on the wiper arm and it came loose and got crossed up with the other arm...could have caused some real damage! Fortunately I was driving and we were close enough to home to go back and get a wrench to tighten it...could have been bad if it was just my wife and she was away from home when it started to rain!
    Gonna use my local glass shop the next time I need automotive glass...

    We kept it for 8 years Stinny and the sold it. As well, I had a trucking business, moving new RV's from several factories to various dealers in Ontario. Sold both and settled locally in the area. What started out as a ten year plan to return south ended up being a permanent plan whereby they will bury my sorry arse right here in the beautiful Upper Ottawa Valley. The landscape, valley folks and pace of life make this the place I want to be. To much Bullchit going on south of the border for my tastes.

    I've done some fishing in Ontario, just utterly gorgeous. I just always remember how simple and peaceful it always was. It's on our families bucket list to rent a place on a Canadian lake some summer and just enjoy the beauty.
