Dave's driveway is narrow, steep, and rocky. He cleared a lot of brush from the sides this trip, so it's possible to turn around. The one time I brought a trailer, I parked on the road, and he loaded me with the loader.

A quick post here... We just got in, back to "hell"! Were, ok but with one "Smashed" windshield! Seems a big chunk of cement, rock or debris from somewhere flew up and took out our windshield. It was softball in size. I'll post more and pics later this evening.
I'll give everyone the update. To much to say right now, I'll get back shortly!

Well, here's $500.00 I wasn't planning on spending! :headbang::headbang::headbang: Yup! Just got off the phone with USAA, that's my glass deductible. Windshield is over $700.00 o_O

Uh oh! That stinks! Gald to hear no one was hurt.

One more reason to move up this way, don’t have to worry much about highway debris. As there arnt many highways.

Well, now that my blood pressure has receded and I was able to get a beer or 5 in me I can now sit and post! "First"!!! I would like to give a BIG SHOUT out to tree killer , MikeInMa , Midwinter , bogieb , Warner and my two cousins who came out and gave up their Friday and Saturday to help Chrissy and I at the future homestead. "Thank you" all so very much!!! There was a lot that was accomplished and I almost thought we were gonna get completely washed out. I'm gonna post what pics I have on one camera and load up the other later! As in past, Midwinter wouldn't let us go hungry so she made the "Hoagie/sub/grinder" run which was great! I hope to get up there again before @$$ deep snow falls. The company was wonderful and FHC is truly a family!!!
A Shout out to Scotty Overkill who "did" make it but party was over and we must have crossed paths. I had a terrible head cold and couldn't drown it with enough beer and cold meds! It is what it is! It was awesome to hear three saws blazing at once. Midwinter has got more picking to do! We made enough room for about 4 or 5 cars to park. the area was all small trees prior. With no exaggeration I still have maybe 20+ cord to come down, maybe more and that doesn't scratch the surface what I have for the rest of my living days on that land! on to pics now... A couple pics also from Hogback mountain in Vermont. In the last pic of the Jeep, loader and I, there is about 7 acres straight back of untouched land and thousands of trees.

Thank you Stinny! It is what I/we have been dreaming of for a long time. I "No doubt" have a lot of work ahead, but dammit I'll give it everything I got! I do "Realize" I'm not in my 20's or 30's any longer though...

I'm super glad you two enjoyed the Bridge! "Some day" we'll give Well Seasoned a break and have the GTG at my place.:) Chrissy loves the charm of that also.
