D3BFCFB2-3F4E-4987-B923-698CFE780BC9.jpeg I know this pales in comparison with many of the stacks I’ve seen here. But, this is the first time I’ve ever really had a stack that I’m not embarrassed to show you. Plus, it’s the first time I’ve ever had a good stash of wood going into the heating season. Usually it’s more like, “OH CRAP, supposed to get cold for the next couple days”, then go scramble around the get 1/2 a pickup load, and then go again when that’s gone. Rinse, repeat, repeat, all winter. A little disappointed when I measured & figured it up. Barely 2 cords..... anyway, can I have my FHC membership card now? Please

I’d be very proud of that stack.

Yes! You absolutely can consider yourself a card carrying member.:dex: :salute:

Looking good, now you need to focus on the 3 year plan.

Pretty sure this won’t quite cover this year’s plan. I’ve been working towards the 3 year. Got about 2 cords in my woodshed kit, & probably 3 cords of rounds and logs to get bucked split and stacked. Waiting for some snow cover for that so I’m not tracking & planting more sandburs in my back lot

That's some nice stacking! Mine never look that nice.:emb:

Those plastic pallets are great! I love to have a couple dozen of them.

Nice looking work Sandhillbilly  I see the forum has had a positive affect on you as well as me, although i consider myself an extreme case! Ive seen what limited trees you have out there so hats off to you!:tip:
Ive said this before and ill say it again. I dont judge or care how much wood one has, hoards or how "nice" their stacks are. The thing that matters is we all share a common passion (maybe obsession is a better word) for everything and anything trees, saws, firewood etc and thats what this forum is all about. I very much enjoy seeing everyone elses wood scores, stacks, sheds, saw etc.
So even if you hoarded one log (or none at all) in the time youve joined i would consider you a FHC member!

A man should always be proud of his wood stacks.

    Too neat.
I would hate to need to start burning it.

Nice trailer. They used to be a lot more common around here.

I too have a bit of pallet envy.
    :emb:

I've been getting better wood pallets, but would love some good plastic ones.

I just wish that I’d have got all they had. Got them at a Shopko store that was closing. IIRC they were marked $5 each, offered the manager $3 if I took 20. Sold!! Was only 3 days left and they were just trying to get anything they could, anything that was left was staying/going with the building. Wish I’d have offered $2 each and took the whole pile. I’m sure she would have taken it. Probably let 15 more get away
