    I'll take the extra e out in the title.

    It's a very annoying and ridiculous tone of voice some women use to try to appear smarter or more important. Imaging blending "valley girl" talk with Froggy from Little Rascals. Sure does get one's attention but does not earn any respect to them or what they are saying.

    Thank you, HOW interesting people and citations in that video use the same adjective I used. Annoying. I am freed from the vocal fry middle aged relative for awhile. It's no different than someone insulting you in a nice voice with a giggle at the end, they still an azzhole.
    This particular person I had to deal with both went into a whisper WITH the croaky vocal frye valleygirl talk frequently :hair:
