Waiting for sunrise to get the full view of the overnight rain/wind storm. After a quick walk around the property with a flashlight, there's no obvious damage here.

Elsewhere, there's trees and utility lines down. Some communities have cancelled school.

 

Same, waiting for sunrise. Lots of pine needles on the deck and patio. Didn't hear anything go thump in the night!

 

Good morning everyone! No storm damage here, but a tree fell on my son's house. A limb went through the ceiling, and the power is out. My son is in Texas and my DIL is going to NY tomorrow, so sounds like my grandson will be sleeping over up here. Cutting up the tree is probably beyond my abilities. There is a steep wooded slope behind their house, and the tree hit the second story. All that is back there are junk maples anyway. Anyway insurance would pay for that I hope.
It's raining pine needles, but no raindrops here. Wind is still kicking.

Glad y'all are ok. I saw on the weather channel where New England area recorded some 90 mph winds, wow... that's a hurricane, don't care what name you put on it.

 

I guess they can count me out. They need a crane.

 

Hope y'all stay safe. Maybe you can get the wood, if you want it. Let them get somebody to get it off the house.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Working the last 12 hr day, going on my looong days off, added 2 days vacation to it, so won't come back till Oct 27th. Hope to help my son get his house hooked up to utilities, but rain is forecast, do what we can. Beautiful cool morning down here, mid 40's. I saw some pictures from the storm up north. Praying for yall's safety. Wish we could come help...

They know how to get ya...I bought an '04 Jeep Liberty a couple months ago. They now get all the ad valorem tax at once. Tag for it was over $200...

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I think I will go deal with a huge red wasp nest in one of our deer stands while it is still cool and barely light this morning. Then got to take Miz Carol to get a CT scan. Dr did chest x-ray and thought her aorta looked enlarged, wants to be sure she doesn't have an aneurysm. Say a little prayer for us, if you don't mind. Then going to Lowe's to get supplies to help our son on his house next week.

Good morning.

I'm planning to rediscover my driveway this morning. Need to use the leaf blower to remove white pine needles and leaves. A few other yard things needing some attention.

Then, figure out what I'm taking to WeldrDave's and have it loaded in my van for an early morning departure on Saturday.
