It's not finished yet. Still getting pretty good gusts down here in NW Police State (NJ) and I'm pretty dam far inland. Lots of widowmakers been falling. Free pre-winter tree pruning & kindling far as I'm concerned.
Temps are dropping good though. Ther'll be a fire in the stove tonight.

I grew up in the Randolph and Mt. Arlington area before I moved north in 1982.

Power stayed on. Lots of heavy wind and rain overnight. Cloudy and very windy today with some good gusts. Blew my hat off once. Drove locally where ive been cutting and saw no limbs or trees down. Lots of acorns falling where i cut and unloaded. Luckily i didnt get hit with any!
No Asplundh trucks around and ii texted one guy who's number i have. They were on their way to Portland, Maine!
Sorry bear 1998 , i didnt realize you had started a thread about this. I posted one in other section. "Nor'Easter"

Wind still hasn't calmed down all that much and now it is raining again on and off.
Went for a walk in the woods despite the trees banging into each other and no easy down scores. :-(
