Went to the same yard again today and cut another load. Forgot the camera and had to run home...no pics it didnt happen! They were cutting two houses up and stopped traffic was watching me cut and quarter. Two Asplundh supervisors walked by while i was working with clipboards in hand. I joked if they had an application for me. No hand splitting allowed for them...oh well.
Another nice half cord load. Two more trunks left to cut. Sold this load to the same guy. Couple hours to cut, load, and drop. IMG_1114.JPG IMG_1113.JPG

I had six sales at $150 in the last week and a half and 3 of them i added $10 bucks for gas. I throw it in loose and rounded out truck load is advertised as less than half but mor than a third. When it gets colder and cordwood guys run out ill be beating them off me with a stick

Like picking money up off the ground! Well, a little more effort, but I like your quick turnaround. Especially as you are short stacking space. Let your customer stare at it for three years.

Havnt seen that yet but im sure it happens. Seems like alot of guys have run out already. My dads friend came and filled his truck yesterday, he had a hard time finding it. Btw, im selling dead standing ready to burn stuff, i cut it and split it as i get the order, top it off with my 2-3 year seasoned stuff if i have to. I advertise the green stuff for $115 a load. I need the address to weldr daves too

Stoves rippin with red pine rt now, i better pay attention i dont wanna burn the place down. I got some silver maple in with it, man that stuff (dead standing) goes up like a match. Im pretty sure its silver maple, its the one thats a little brown on the outside when the bark falls off and the stuff is rock hard when you knock it together. Its silver or red maple i guess. I sold a whole load of it to my friend who buys from big cordwood guys and he never experienced using actual dry wood. He loved it, im urging him to get on a plan, its no way to burn using 25 plus percent moisture wood.

He has a bit of wood hoarded already. 4 car garage in the back yard with a 12' wide carport the length of it across the back . I saw this last Winter when i sold him a 1/2 cord and loved it. May try to work out a deal with him....wood storage for wood processing.

I have alot of green split already but so much more in rounds and 4 footers. I advertise both, obviously the seasoned is going better. I c&s all that ash from monday and sold it to my dads friend for $115 ($35 discount) my business advisor (Whitney- my wife) wants me to stock up as many rounds and 4 footers that i can( in between c&s dead standing ready to sell dry wood for incoming orders) before snow flies then i can split all winter. She helps me keep my A.D.D. In check LOL
