This genius brings the splits back in the woods and buries them.

Today, both local "pups of interest" were caught on camera in what is believed in a tussle while attempting to dispose of evidence.

    Breaking news. Dateline: Virginia:
The wood-be-bandit(s) are at it again! This time tumbling a middle stack.

Luckily no one was hurt in the most recent strike. As usual, there were no witnesses.

Be warned as firewood season approaches that the bandits are still AT LARGE!

Honestly though, I'll bet it startled them when the stack came crashing down beside them.

    Neither suspect appears injured.

They had better be glad that I like them, a lot!

She's a pretty good girl. She let's me know if there are critters in any pile I'm pulling from.

My two pups are amazingly not interested in stealing splits.

Badger steals my parking mark tennis ball that I hang from the garage rafters.

Now I just have a string hanging and I put half split ash logs as wheel stops on the floor.
