There are a few items from China, mostly without moving parts, that I can tolerate, and actually appreciate since they’re inexpensive and wholly functional. But many absolutely are not.
Niggly things like pencils made from some plastic-y wood, with the only real wood on them seems to be the eraser. I am happy to pay the extra for a gross of Dixon number twos.
Don’t get me started on rubber bands that have virtually no elasticity and easily snap on the lightest of duty.
I buy American made by the pound from eBay, as well as zip ties in bags of 100 or 500 that never crack or slip.
Any abrasives in the woodshop will not be Chinese. American made is a far better value since they last so much longer and I don’t have to wrestle with trying to fold and split them where I actually want the splits.
Any HSS or carbide blade on any machine gets American-made.
I think I could go on a fair bit longer but I do have work out in the shop.
    What is your list?

    +1 with the too numerous.
    Blatant Knock-offs irk me.
I especially don't trust food. Grown and processed there or grown here and processed there. The latter being a stupid use of resources just to chase a price, often with slave (literal or figurative) labors.
With so much over-use and mis-used pesticides and so many cancer causing substances contaminating so many areas of China - no thanks on the food. Feel bad for the people there eating some of the crap they have mostly unawares.
Their predatory practices make WalMart look like a charity group.
Unfortunately with so many companies taking advantage of labor rates and lack of safety and environmental concerns avoiding Hecho en China is pretty much impossible. Some day ...

    I look at the tag,
If I only find what I’m looking for is mic,
I decide how bad I need it.
Will pay more if I find made in USA.

Had a bad batch of phillips impact bits. Bulk buy of 20 bits and about every 5th screw, snap.

I try to not buy Chinese as much as I can, mostly because I know what they're making with our money....

I've learned to use as many original parts as possible from a car. Re-pops are mostly junk.
