Now these are seasoned, dead standing white oak. Of course Tito doesnt mind the rain, you can tell by the look on his face he’s lovin life.

The rain held off nicely, didn't it? I spent the day in the woods, too, out in Winchester. Hope you can make it out to Dave's.

Yeah, rained here all night and all day. Let up a little bit just a few minutes ago and went and put some more deer fence up at mom's where she said the deer were munching away her asian pear trees early this morning. They got her hostas too but I didn't mention it.

not for anything, but i think you are loving life too Woodwhore !
I drove by Asplundh cutting in the rain :singingintherain:and went by again a short bit ago and there is a guy loading the short & smaller logs. I stopped and chatted. He lived a few houses up and when i went by he had a little mound already at his house. If i was in my work clothes i wouldve offered to help him load. I may go in the rain tomorrow and cut some of it. If you can do it so can I. Thanks for the inspiration...as if i needed any already. Inspiration and wood that is!
Hoard on and be safe my friend!:tree:

Do it buzzsaw brad, i got so much wood working for asplundh. i just cleaned the chimney and brought in some red pine. I love working in the rain especially when its warm, it was a little cool here in upper 40’s. I might have to light our first fire tonight. 465061C1-AFE2-4318-B9F3-749B6DA22556.jpeg

Rain is okay to work in if it is light and warm but when it turns cold, it doesn't take long to get to you. Same with wind. Wind and rain is a bad mix.

Not much rain here. Light showers, breezy, low 50's. A bit raw.

Nice and toasy by the woodstove. After being away for several days, two windows are cracked open a bit in the back of the house. Nice to get fresh air into the house.
