Strange year. Leaves are every where from still green to frozen and dead. Got a couple of good pics. West side of Boreas Pass, which is what we go there for......all the leaves dead and gone. The big peaks, of course, speak for themselves. They are always impressive. It was a beautiful day. Left early and beat the crowds. That 27F at the top of Boreas Pass was refreshing after the summer we have had. Had a nice picnic beside 4 Mile Creek, half way up to the Mt. Sherman trail head at Kite Lake. Leaves or no leaves, a trip to the high country is always good for the soul.
Someday I'm gonna pack up the wife and kid and were gonna take a road trip to the west. I want to see a real mountain up close. Although your pics are awesome justdraftn I feel like they're much more spectacular in person. That looks like some beautiful country.
We took a ride to see some fall colors, even though it is past peak, the colors in the woods and on the sides of the roads were nice.
I love seeing autumn foliage pictures! These were taken last Thursday as I was passing thru a couple of towns taking one of the cats to the vet. Not full peak yet, but still very pretty Peterborough, NH Russian olive in the area I parked in to take the above picture. Greenfield, NH Bennington, NH
The first 4 pictures are from Lampson Falls, the next 4 should be from Sinclair Falls and the last 2 pics should be of Jamestown Falls. Northern New York Waterfalls

Nice pics! Is that a Tamarack in slide 11? The branches seem different than the ones we have here but I had to look at that one a few times.
