That does seem appropriate. I don’t know how much hardwood they use out there but pines are usually straight and tall so they make great trees to get lumber from.
I don't understand. What problem do you think you have? Hoard on my brother! Let nothing stand in your way!
gotcha beat!!! this load of shagbark hickory has been in my PU since Thursday and is still there! In all fairness it was raining when i got home with it Thursday (didnt feel like unloading in the rain as i was pretty wet already) and left very early Friday morning to go out of state. Got back late last night. Ill admit i keep looking out the window to admire it! Something only us hoarders would understand!
I don’t post much anymore since wood seems to be HIGHLY plentiful, bringing something back all the time. Guys here going: Great another loador is that my neighbors? Anyways... usually with any wood like cherry or oak I’m OK with getting it because I know it’s got multiple uses.
Same. Love wearing these on a regular basis. Just throwing this out but if you’re a size say L get an XL if you’re planning on washing it. The newer ones have gotten tight afterwards...
I have 10 cords in the shed for this winter. Close to 20 split in several piles around my house. I have somewhere between 10 and 15 in logs across the 25 acres here. Maybe 3 in blocks by my garage. About 2 cords of logs at my neighbors. I am just angry because a few of my smaller piles got wet and started to rot. I spent the last day cleaning up piles onto pallets. I am forcing myself to get everything split and on pallets and under cover that is not already before I bring more home or drop another tree.
Nice timbers right there. I have a couple oak 3x4x10's I saved off a pallet. Scored these 2 7 1/2x11 pallets from work last week. 2 stretch wrapping machines came in. Got 4x8x16 cap block, 4x4's and 2x6's PT for post and wall frame. Already have 48x48" pallets for walls and metal roofing. Hope to start soon.
I'm trying to get all the premium wood CSS before it gets in bad shape like the other. One day at a time
