I just drove up though the LP today from Ohio. North of Flint, were the worst drivers I've ever seen in my life. It wasn't just a few driver's, it was almost every one. All had Michigan plates, and all were to be honest either a holes, or super inconsistent with their speeds. IDK if it was pizzed off Michigan wolverines fans since the Badgers humiliated them a little over a week ago but they were downright rude. Purposely speeding up or slowing down to cut me off when having to overtake a semi truck or slower car. I'd expect that if I started something with them, but this was several times with totally different cars that never saw me before. It was bizarre.

I also probably surprised that equinox driver that purposely tried to cut me off by passing him up hill before the semi we both had to pass on the right lane. My truck has nearly 400 hp and tq and that equinox had no answer for that.

Same thing happened with a late 2000's camry and I had to pass him and cut back in front of him. The Camry and the equinox turned off of I-75 at Saginaw. The other inattentive but not a holes like those 2 cars all turned off before that.

If I never see driver's like that again, I'll be happy.

Leaving in the morning to go across the Mackinac bridge then through the UP along the southern shore line, then down past Green Bay.

The trip's been a lot of fun, but I want to be home again.

The lawn must be super long even though I scalped it the night before we left.

Lol, I guess I hauled today.

That included a stop before Cleveland off the freeway to buy a couple of cases of yuengling. You can't buy that in Sconnie. Fwiw, I think my Point Special Lager is a better lager than yuengling lager, but I can't convince a few of my friends of this. I'll need to conduct a blind taste test between the two to convince them.

Try I-25 in Colorado during rush hour. When I stopped the weekly commute to Denver the speed limit was 75, everyone in the fast lane went 90 . Regardless of my speed I had a built in distance between myself the vehicle in front of me, it was a never ending parade of drivers going in and out of that space to try to pass the car in front of them doing 90 in the fast lane on the right. My Colt Wagon had 10ths on the odometer, it was hilarious seeing it spinning furiously some Friday mornings. Probably the funniest thing was before the Colt and I drove the old Blazer down there (2.5 hours one way) 3 times a week, that day it was misting, a man was following me way too close for an hour with his wipers on high, he was so close and low the water from my tires was landing on his windshield :picard:. Next was the Isuzu Trooper, bought plastic reflector posts for my driveway and marking our septic lid at the dollar store, realized on the way home I was not being tailgated. They were red and blue   taped them to the side and never took them out.

Honestly that sounds like a cakewalk compared to the weird inconsistent pace of all the rest of the driver's today on that stretch. I had my cruise set at 80 in a 75 mph limit. I was not the fastest person, but the couple that were faster were gone and out of the way in short fashion. These idiots I'm complaining about were on and off the gas, some I passed 3-4 times in a 100+ mile stretch because they couldn't figure out how to either turn the cruise control on or keep a steady speed without use of cruise.

I drove the NY State Thruway east to west today. Everyone was very polite. 80 mph was the tacit speed, no troopers out. Nice paving job since last year.

Where WW is describing can be nasty or consistent, as far as traffic goes. It all depends on time of day and time of year.
Couple of weeks ago, I was a passenger driving around Toledo to south Detroit. A few times I wanted to scream like a little girl, others was the impulse to hunt down and kill that specific "threat" that did that thing that almost put us in a ditch.
Then there's driving above 8K.... :hair:

I drove that yesterday. Was easy except the one area where the merging traffic from the left had to get all the way across and to the right of 4 Lanes in a short time and distance. Bad design.

Buffalo was a bit of a scramble. With so many trucks in the right lane, it looked pretty hairy to merge onto the highway.

My experience on the NY turnpike was closer to the Vermont side of New York. Buffalo was easy. My timing must have been good.

You only passed them 3-4 times in a 100 mike stretch? I seriously do that quite often in a 10 mile stretch, if not less. I can be in the 3rd lane of a 4 lane road, going with traffic, and morons will pass me jumping around to all different lanes, only to end up behind me over and over again.

It sounds like you may take the prize with your experience yesterday. My worst experience multiple times has been in the Maryland area. They dont seem to have a clue what they are doing. Speed up to pass you, only to slow down within 30 seconds over and over.

This is especially true in the DC and Baltimore area from my experience.
