    Finally getting after the pile and starting my firewood cutting and hoarding for the season.
    Got a load cut and hauled home for splitting yesterday. Trying for couple more loads this week, if rain doesn't get in the way. 20190906_151041.jpg

    Good looking splits and splitter! I’ve never used a splitter with a log lift.

    But then again, it gets a little chilly in Minnesota.... :)

    I buy the logs from the university where I work. They like me to get it cut and hauled out by December 1st. Which is plenty of time. Last year it took me the month of October to get it all done. After this haul I should be right on my 3 year plan.
