Cherry birch with maple on top and a side of white oak. And made myself a nice road to back into for a whole lot more. And of course woodwhore jr
That is a very substantial load! Is the cherry birch any lighter than the maple and oak? How far is it, one way, for you?
The cherry is all on the bottom, its pretty light. Sscroll up t o the top to yesterday s pics and theres a big piece of cherry birch split.
On my way home from the quarry i noticed a large down white birch on somebodys front lawn. No chimney either, im fighting with myself about stopping. Whats wrong with me
I have straight grain wood envy fo you guy back East. The mostly oak we get out here where I live is gnarly and stringy sometimes. Makes it harder to split and it doesn't stack too well.
Two of them! WeldrDave as well. I think we might get rained out today though. Although Woodwhore has a fire in his belly!
i was in Brookline briefly on Tuesday and wondered how close you were. I remembered you being on the Mass line. You are really working these scores hard Woodwhore ...lots of credit to you. Some nice easy to handle rounds which is a plus in my book. . How are you feeling other than tired from cutting wood?
Im feeling really good thanks, im forcing myself to take multiple breaks. Thanks so much brookline is the town between mason and milford youe were just minutes from my house and the quarry.
Ya i went out to try and beat it and didnt so i got soaked but temps were nice. It got started getting darker and the wind was not great so i stopped around 6:00 and came home and dumped. Got inside at 8 took a shower, ate and passed out.
And heres a full load of cherry birch. I layed down a poplar around the same size rt before i left, im waiting for feedback if i should take it. See my new thread i just posted.
